- Simple to use, no measuring or complicated mixing procedures. With a pair of scissors cut a section from the putty stick and remove the film. Mix the putty by kneading between finger and thumb, until a uniform colour is achieved. This will identify that the putty is ready to be applied to the damaged area. The putty can be shaped and formed before curing begins and due to its consistency drips and runs are eliminated. It will not rust and will protect and seal the exposed damaged areas.
- The putty cures to a light grey colour and takes about 24 hours to cure completely depending upon environmental conditions. However, it can be filed, sanded and shaped after only one hour.
- Once you have achieved the desired shape and finish of the putty, the damaged areas will now be ready for repainting. You can paint directly over the alloy putty and we recommend that you follow standard painting instructions to do this (see instructions on the paint cans).
- Should not be used for structural repairs to alloy wheels. If in any doubt consult a qualified mechanic.
