E-TECH Door Guard fits along the side or bottom edge of your car's door to act as a buffer and prevent damage and detioration.
The knocks, bumps and chips that your vulnerable paintwork along the door edge can acquire in car parks from other cars, from high kerbs or from parking in the street, can be prevented. Door Guard can also be used to cover up existing damage to your paintwork, chips, rust, etc.
E-TECh Door Guard is self-adhesive and manufactured so that it will grip the door edge tightly and offer protection along the most vulnerable parts of the door.
Door Guard is provided in a 2 metre (6'6") length, enough to cover 2 doors of most cars. It is simple to fit and offers protection for both side and bottom edges of your doors.

IMPORTANT - READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW BEFORE FITTING THE DOOR GUARD
- Thoroughly clean the area along the door edge where the Door Guard is going to be fitted.
- IMPORTANT - This area must be completely free of all traces of oil, grease, wax, polish, dirt, dust and moisture. Thoroughly dry the area
- Clean this area with degreasrer or proprietary cleaner (non injurious to paintwork) e.g white spirit, meths etc.
- Measure the door edge area to be protected and cut the Door Guard to the required length. Use a sharp knife or pruning shears. You may need to trim or cut the Door Guard around side mouldings if youe vehicle is fitted with them. N.B. The Door Guard can be fitted around some sharp bends or grooves in the door edge or bodywork. If the corners are sharp you may need to make a small cut in the Door Guard, so that it will conform to the shape of thedoor edge. (Sharp corners should be mitred.) If it is cold and the Door Guard is not very flexible, apply a little heat to it from a hair dryer. THis will make it easier to install.
DO NOT STRETCH THE DOOR GUARD WHILE INSTALLING
- Offer the Door Guard up to the door edge and push hard so that the adhesive makes contact with the door edge.
- Rub Door Guard hard 3 or 4 times to ensure that a maxiumum bond is made. Repeat after 1 hour and 24 hours.
- After fitting, test door closure carefully to ensure that the Door Guard does not foul. Please note car door edges vary in thickness from vehicle to vehicle.
