LENS TINT REMOVAL SPRAY INSTRUCTIONS
If the lens on your vehicle is damaged, oxidised, scratched or cracked there is a possibility that the remover when applied will react with the lens tint. Prolonged UV exposure and weathering will damage polycarbonate light lens surfaces, especially as the vehicle ages.
* We recommend you carry out a compatibility test, however you should do this on a small area (golf ball size) of the lens that will have been exposed to UV and weathering conditions. This will give you an accurate example of what will happen when you apply the remover.
* If during the compatibility test the lens becomes cloudy/frosted then stop immediately. DO not apply any more remover. (If there is a reaction it will be confined to a small area as instructed).
* To get the lens back to a clear state you will need to use a fine cutting compound and a buffing wheel. Any reputable body shop should be able to advise you how to do this, or look on-line.
If your compatibility test is successful and there is no reaction then proceed as follows.
Lightly spray the lens with the removal spray and wipe over the area in a single direction with a clean soft cloth. Do not use with an abrasive cloth. Turn cloth over and wipe dry. Repeat process as necessary until the lens is clean. Change the cloth regularly to avoid contamination.
