E-TECH RATSTOP is specially developed to help protect exposed cables, wiring and hoses from being chewed and gnawed by rodents, especially rats and mice. It is not a poison but rodents find the taste unpleasant and the smell agitates them so they do not settle in treated areas.
It is a clear slightly viscous solution that dries quickly leaving a thin layer over any surface it has been applied to.

Rats, mice, squrrels, rabbits and other rodents find the taste very unpleasant and the smell unnatural which agitates them so they do not settle and avoid the treated areas.
Preparation
Make sure the surface and area you are spraying is clean, dry and free from polish, wax, grease etc. Mask off any areas that you do not want to cover. For best results apply in temperatures between 13-21ºC.
Application
Shake can for 15-20 seconds. Hold can upright and spray in even short 5 second bursts keeping the can about 20-30cm away from the target area. For best results apply 2 or 3 layers, allowing 5 minutes for each one to dry. Wash hands after use.
Suggestions
We recommend you spray 'at risk' areas on a regular basis to ensure a continued strong smell and active deterrent. Porous surfaces will need more regular applications.
